Chilly morning, eventually had my cereal and got on trail. Not liking to backtrack footsteps, but I had no other choice. On the way up I was able to see amazing waterfalls I could only hear the previous night. Sat and admired the biggest waterfall, definitely a sight I hope to never forget. For getting lost and going on the wrong trail, it couldn’t have turned out any better. But it felt good to be back on trail heading in the right direction. Took a break at Bryants Ridge Shelter, because it was the first tri-level shelter. Signed the log and headed to Wilson Creek Shelter. Another freezing night, took me awhile to warm up before I was able to pass out.
