Woke up and packed my bag slowly. For today will be totally different from the rest. The presidential range is 25 miles long. A beautiful ridge, that feels like it never ends. I got lost on the way up, but eventually made it to the top of Mt. Washington. The last mile before the top it was a whole other climate. Cold rain poured down instantly dropping my temperature. I had to keep the same pace till the top or put on another set of clothes. With not wanting to get all my clothes soaked, I kept pushing to the top. I passed people wearing thick raincoats. I got a lot of funny looks, being I was only wearing t-shirt and shorts. At the top, I was in nothing but fog, I could only see ten feet in front of me. Scoped out the original hotel and saw the bunks, kitchen, and lounge area. After that, I went to the museum and hung out by the heater for four hours. I couldn’t stop shaking. Eventually, I dried off and got my confidence back up and I continued my journey to the Lake of the Clouds Hut. I was tempted to do work for stay, but it was only 5:30 and I hadn’t done very many miles. It was crazy, there had to be 120+ people sitting down for food. After leaving, I walked into the beautiful sunset. Was nice stealth camp spots on Mt. Clinton.
