Woke up to dew on everything. I didn’t want to partake in carrying water weight, so I let everything dry out. My sleeping pad popped for the second time on this trip. This dead weight made for some frustrating days. Sleeping on the ground is brutal when your use to a 3″ pad. Although today felt like I had the fastest pace of the whole trip. Through the day, I started off with marshy swampy waters, but it ended up in the high dry ridge. Got quite the scenic views of Lake Tahoe. Was able to dry my socks and shoes, before I hit the hay.
